Sanitary Sewer Extension, Main Street —
LEI provided the land survey and prepared design plans and specifications, construction cost estimates, permitting (MassDOT access permit and Notice of Intent filing with Town Conservation Commission), construction documents, bidding services, construction administration, construction inspection and as-built drawings. The project included 1,250 feet of sanitary sewer extension including 200 feet of gravity mains and 1,050 feet of low pressure sewers.
The sewer extension replaced old and failing septic systems with new sanitary service connections. Included in the project were E-One grinder pumps for six residences and three laterals for vacant lots. The project was funded through Department of Housing and Community Development and administered through the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission.
