Perch Rock Train Wastewater Pump Station, Winchester Water & Sewer Commission —
Winsted, Connecticut

LEI and T.S. Jones Consulting conducted a feasibility study to upgrade several of the Town of Winchester's wastewater pump stations. The study identified advantages and disadvantages of several types of stations with the goal of standardizing as many of the stations as possible. The study also compared the construction costs of the various types of stations.

Based on the results of the study, LEI designed the replacement of a 1953 pneumatic ejector station with a modern submersible sewage pumping station with a standby generator. Plans included minor utility improvements, dewatering, and bypass pumping.
